In addition to my internship, I am volunteering at Kansas Legal Services, a non-profit organization that provides free legal services for low-income individauls.
Internship at Crawford County Judicial Center
I am currently interning at the Crawford County Judicial Center under the supervision of Crawford County Attorney Michael Gayoso. Here, I am gaining insight that will help me as I pursue an eventual degree in law.

Textbroker
Throughout my college career, I have worked with Textbroker, an online company located in Las Vegas. Here, I work writing web content for various clients for the purpose of search engine optimization. For example, if I write an article for a roofing company, I may have to include specific phrases such as "roofers in Seattle." This helps search engines such as Google match search terms with appropriate results. To date, I have sold 2,000 articles, and this has honed my writing skills tremendously as I receive monthly feedback. Below is a screenshot of my current stats:
KOAM TV
I had the opportunity to work as a news assistant at KOAM in Pittsburg for one year during my junior year. This gave me hands-on experience in live broadcasts with anchors Tawnya Back and Dowe Quick. Both of these individuals gave me on-the-job insight. I also learned to run studio cameras, edit videos for broadcast, run the audio board, and produce.
Girard Press
Shortly after graduating from high school, I was promoted to managing editor of the Girard Press, a community newspaper in the town where I attended school from sixth grade. It was here where I began to expand upon my communication skills as well as be a leader for others in the company.
